A closer conversation about the role itself: your relevant experience, how you approach problems, and where your strengths would fit within the team. For commercial and business roles, this is typically the final conversation before meeting the team.
For lab, R&D, and technical positions, we'll ask you to work through a short task or case study similar to what you'd encounter on the job. This gives you a real feel for the kind of problems we solve, and gives us a sense of how you think and work in practice.
Visit us in Heidelberg (or have a video call, if remote) to meet the people you'd be working with day to day.
We move quickly. You'll hear back from us with a clear next step either way.
We keep our benefits practical and meaningful rather than long for the sake of it. You'll get real ownership over your work, direct exposure to the partners and technology shaping the industry, and a work environment where your contributions are visible and valued from day one.
Beyond that, we support the things that let you do your best work: flexibility where it matters, room to grow your skills, and a team that treats you like a colleague, not a number.
Meaningful work on a technology actively shaping water regulation and industry standards
Flat, collaborative structure where your ideas reach leadership fast
Modern lab and office in Heidelberg's Innovation Park
Real ownership from day one, not months of onboarding before you touch real work
We're a small, hands-on team based in Heidelberg's Technology Park, working just steps apart from the lab, the workshop, and each other. Ideas move fast, questions get answered directly, and everyone stays close to the actual water problems we're solving.
Most of us came here because we wanted our work to matter: cleaner water, fewer toxic contaminants, and real progress you can measure. As a young, growing company, that also means real responsibility early on and genuine ownership over your work, not months of waiting to get started.
Good science, honest communication, and a genuine sense of purpose. That's what we try to build every day.
We're always interested in hearing from talented people who share our mission.
Send us your CV at jobs@instraction.de and tell us how you'd like to contribute, and we'll keep you in mind for future openings.
Whether you're applying for an open role or want to introduce yourself for the future, we'd love to hear from you.
