Analysis of PFAS and heavy metals

We offer comprehensive PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) analyses using advanced liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry technology (HPLC-MS/MS). Our service ensures the accurate detection and quantification of PFAS in various samples, helping you to fulfil regulatory requirements and protect public health.

We also offer heavy metal analyses using an ICP-OES.

We use state-of-the-art equipment from Agilent which is known for its precision and reliability in analytical chemistry.

We analyse your water samples for PFAS and heavy metals

Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are pollutants that occur everywhere in the environment and are known to contaminate drinking water and food sources. The recast of the Drinking Water Directive limits the total content of PFAS in drinking water to 0.5 μg/l and the content for 20 individual PFAS to 0.1 μg/l. The Member States must take the necessary measures to ensure compliance.

We analyse your samples for the 20 PFAS compounds that are regulated in the European Drinking Water Directive and the national Drinking Water Ordinance:

- Perfluorobutanoic acid (PFBA)

- Perfluoropentanoic acid (PFPeA)

- Perfluorohexanoic acid (PFHxA)

- Perfluoroheptanoic acid (PFHpA)

- Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)

- Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)

- Perfluorodecanoic acid (PFDA)

- Perfluorundecanoic acid (PFUnDA)

- Perfluorododecanoic acid (PFDoDA)

- Perfluorotridecanoic acid (PFTrDA)

- Perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS)

- Perfluoropentanesulfonic acid (PFPeS)

- Perfluorohexanesulfonic acid (PFHxS)

- Perfluoroheptane sulfonic acid (PFHpS)

- Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS)

- Perfluoronanesulfonic acid (PFNS)

- Perfluorodecane sulfonic acid (PFDS)

- Perfluorundecane sulfonic acid

- Perfluorododecane sulfonic acid

- Perfluorotridecane sulfonic acid
