Press release
instrAction was awarded the Greentech Award.
Heidelberg, Germany, 25 Jul. 2022
Based on the international patent classification system IPC, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) defined a total of eight fields and their IPC codes in 2016 in which technologies relevant to environmental and climate protection are located. The "SME GreenTech Award 2022/23" of the German Association for Consumer Studies starts exactly at this point - and honours the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have distinguished themselves in one of the fields through exceptional innovative achievements.
instrAction is particularly pleased about the award because it is a very special recognition for the innovative efforts of the last few years.
Patents have been used as a benchmark for the innovative performance of companies. Irrespective of fluctuations in the zeitgeist or product trends, patents are an expression of inventiveness, represent an official certificate for an intellectual achievement worthy of protection, and are objective testimony to the fact that a novel solution has been found.
The laudatory speech of the German Society for Consumer Studies states: "What was particularly fascinating was the wide range of technological approaches of the companies awarded the GreenTech Award. Be it the award winner Duesenfeld GmbH, which developed a groundbreaking process for the environmentally friendly recycling of lithium-ion batteries, or instrAction GmbH, which was able to patent a technology for the purification of drinking or wastewater streams from heavy metals.
