A Breakthrough Week: instrAction's Global Debut at Aquatech Amsterdam & Circular Valley Convention
Heidelberg, Germany, 1 Apr 2025
We are thrilled to share a monumental milestone in instrAction's journey: our debut on the global stage at Aquatech Amsterdam 2025 (March 11–14) and the Circular Valley Convention in Düsseldorf (March 12–13) — all within one incredible week.
Aquatech Amsterdam: Major Success Milestone
instrAction made its first appearance at Aquatech Amsterdam 2025 — one of the world’s leading water exhibitions. Our booth featured our innovative absorber resin technology for the removal of PFAS and heavy metals, and the response exceeded all expectations.
Highlights from Aquatech Amsterdam 2025
Product Launches — PFAS Drinking Water Filters:
Together with Carbonit, we officially launched our first collaborative filter cartridge, combining their trusted carbon block with our high-performance absorber resin inside.
We also unveiled a brand-new on-tap filter system with Alb Filter, offering consumers a compact, powerful solution for point-of-use PFAS and heavy metal filtration.
Additionally, we featured the filbec filter, our first commercial product on the market, which has been reliably protecting households since its launch last year.
Global Networking:
We connected with current and new partners, customers, and industry experts from around the world, generating a strong commercial pipeline and international partnerships. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want to learn more about our technology for PFAS and Heavy Metal Removal.
Circular Valley Convention: Championing Innovation & Sustainability
While part of our team engaged in Amsterdam, we also made a strong impression at the Circular Valley Convention in DĂĽsseldorf, Germany. This parallel event provided the perfect platform to highlight our commitment to sustainability, circular economy principles, and innovative water technologies.
Key moments from the Circular Valley Convention
Innovation Stage Presentation: We had the honour of presenting our absorber resin technology on the Innovation Stage, showcasing how ion-selective materials can play a pivotal role in addressing contaminants like PFAS while supporting circular resource use.
Thought Leadership in Circularity: Beyond purification, instrAction’s resins enable precious metal recovery, capturing metals such as gold, palladium, or platinum from process water or waste streams. This not only prevents environmental loss but also creates economic value from waste, turning water treatment into a source of material recycling and resource efficiency.
Circular Design Thinking: Our absorber technology supports a circular economy by enabling cartridge-based systems with regenerable or replaceable components. This design reduces single-use waste and extends product lifecycles, fully aligning with sustainability regulations and industry trends.
Strategic Positioning: The event sparked meaningful conversations with stakeholders in policy, technology, and sustainability, reinforcing instrAction’s role as a forward-thinking partner in the future of clean and circular water treatment.
Market Readiness: From R&D to Deployment
After years of state-of-the-art research and development, instrAction is accelerating commercial projects with our groundbreaking resin with:
Proven Technology: Our absorber resins have demonstrated exceptional performance in removing PFAS and heavy metals across a range of water conditions and applications.
Scalable Production: We have built robust production capabilities to meet the demands of OEMS and cartridge manufacturers, ensuring a high-quality, consistent supply.
Collaborative Solutions: Through partnerships with Carbonit, Alb Filter, and filbec, we are already bringing advanced materials into everyday filter products — safe, reliable, and ready to protect water users.
Looking Ahead
Great customer dialogues at Aquatech Amsterdam and the Circular Valley Convention gave us the rocket fuel to accelerate our mission: to bring advanced, sustainable water purification to homes, businesses, and communities.
To everyone who stopped by, showed interest in our solutions, shared feedback, or sparked ideas — a heartfelt thank you.
